In the weeks that followed Jesus’ birth, Jo-seph and Mary carefully obeyed God’s commands to them as new parents – circumcision, redemption of the first-born and the purification after childbirth. They meet Simeon and Anna, who prophesied about Him. He grew up, became strong and increased in wisdom.
